A dramatic re-design of pixar.com, the official website for Pixar Animation Studios went live today.

It's a striking design that still maintains its signature simplicity, but is jarring to those used to being greeted by a sterile, white background. It has been replaced instead by a very dark, warm gray color. You may also notice that the overall size of the homepage has increased, a very welcome improvement in the days of large displays. The site has remained largely the same for over a decade, so such a huge change is likely to generate some buzz.
